Placing an order with CatholicShop means you agree to our terms/conditions/policies.
You can expect most items to ship within two weeks. However, out-of-stock items, special orders and orders imported from suppliers in the US or overseas may take 6 – 8 weeks (possibly longer). We will notify you of the approximate delivery date.
While couriers make every effort to ship orders in a timely fashion, we do not guarantee delivery dates. Due to the worldwide pandemic, courier companies are not guaranteeing delivery dates therefore nor can we.
We ship via Canada Post courier or Canpar. We offer both options because depending on your location either company may not deliver in your area. So the difference in price does not relate to shipping time. Both couriers ship within a similar timeframe.
It is the right for CatholicShop to ship via either courier company we offer. While your payment for shipping will reflect your choice at checkout WE DO NOT GUARANTEE WE WILL USE THE CARRIER OF YOUR CHOICE.
Delivery times are estimates. CatholicShop does not guarantee delivery within a specifified timeframe and will not refund shipping fees if or when deliveries are delayed.
Should you not be home or your company or religious organization be closed during delivery hours the carrier may leave your parcel for you or leave a ticket advising you that your package may be picked up at their nearest depot.
CatholicShop will not be responsible for non-retrieved parcels.
In the event a package is returned to CatholicShop because it was not picked up within the alloted timeframe we will be happy to reship it to you with additional shipping fees. A shipping fee is charged to CatholicShop by the carrier to have the package returned to CatholicShop for which the customer is responsible.
If you chose not to have the package reshipped then the contents will be refunded with a restocking fee determined by the manufacturer or publisher unless product was a special order and deemed non-refundable or non-returnable in which case product will not be refunded. In addition the pre-paid shipping fee to send the package originally then the shipping fee to return the package to CatholicShop will not be refunded.
Delivery charges are exactly what our courier companies charge us with no extra packaging or handling fees added.
Should you receive a delivered item with any damages the box or noticeable markings, please note this with delivery personnel. Any claim for merchandise that arrives damaged must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. Please keep the original shipping container and packing material as this may be required for insurance claims. Damaged items may not be returned without an authorization number.
Please note that items ordered together may not necessarily be shipped together and in some instances may be shipped directly from our manufactures or publishers.
Your satisfaction is important to us. We want you to be happy with every purchase. We do not accept returns on special orders, dated or seasonal items. This includes for example sacred vessels, institutional statuary, vestments, annual product and the like. In all other cases if for any reason you are not satisfied with product you may return it to us (with our authorization) within 10 days of purchase for an exchange or refund however the limitations noted apply.
Returns may be subject to a restocking fee.
All returns require prior authorization along with a return number. If the return is not the result of our error, all related shipping costs to and from the customer are the customer’s responsibility.
To return a product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number ("RMAN") for the product and approval from CatholicShop. CatholicShop will not accept returns without prior authorization and a RMAN. Once issued, RMAN’s are valid for 30 days and product being returned must be received by CatholicShop within this time. CatholicShop reserves the right not to extend or reissue RMAN’s.
You must prominently display the RMAN(s) on the shipping label of the box or boxes containing the returned product. You are solely responsible for shipping any returned product to CatholicShop and agree to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. You agree to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipping. You agree that all returned product will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component of the returned product is missing or damaged, CatholicShop’s Return Procedure will be breached and CatholicShop may in its sole and absolute discretion reject the entire return or choose to impose additional charges against the customer for replacement of the missing or damaged component(s).
CatholicShop will not refund the original shipping charges. In addition, CatholicShop will assess a restocking fee from 0% up to 40% against the Customer's account on all returns for refund dependent on the manufacturer’s restocking fee. You will be notified of this percentage prior to your return.
We do our absolute best to keep our prices current. However, due to the constant rising costs of precious metals, prices for sacred vessels/metalware and jewelry are subject to change. Prices and technical specifications on all product, is subject to change without notice, at any time. You will be notified of any price increase before the product is shipped.
CUSTOM / SPECIAL ORDERS
A 50% deposit is required on all custom / special orders. Once production commences, orders may not be cancelled or returned.
CHANGES TO ORDERS
Every effort will be made to assist you should you need to make a change to your order provided production has not already begun nor yet shipped out from the manufacturer/publisher. Please contact our customer service via telephone (not email) during business hours to request your change.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS & REFUNDS
We will accept cancellation of your order provided the order has not already been processed, shipped or is not a special ordered item on which production has begun. Product that must be pre-ordered (not pre-paid) such as the annual Sunday Missal and Palms may not be cancelled after the specified date noted. Please contact our customer service via telephone (not email) during business hours to request your cancellation. Applicable credits will be applied to your credit card within 3 business days.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
All credit card payments are billed in Canadian dollars for Canadian customers. We accept VISA and MasterCard. If paying by cheque or money order, your product will not be shipped (and in some cases will not be ordered from the manufacturer/publisher) until the credit card payment, cheque or money order clears. In some cases this excludes Churches, Schools, School Boards and those customers who have an existing account and terms with us.
