With the Master Living in Purity

"IN every generation there are people who claim to know God, but by their works they deny Him. Redemption through Christ does not give anyone a license to sin. There ought to be ongoing purity through His sanctifying work in our lives. Titus had been le on the Isle of Crete and commanded by the Apostle Paul, his spiritual father, to begin planting churches there. The region was known to be fiercely independent and given over to idolatry--not much different from the culture today. Immorality was rampant, false teachers were abounding, and there was a vacuum of qualified leadership for establishing these new churches. Like Titus, we need a manual on how to take the pure gospel to an impure people. Paul's le er to Titus was wri en for the purpose of living out sound doctrine. God calls us not to be worldly women, but to be lifelong examples of those who walk With the Master Living in Purity."
