Brief Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder: Traumatic Incident Reduction and Related Techniques

Research has demonstrated that brief therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can be very successful and tends to be more effective than long term work. Traumatic Incident Reduction is a relatively new technique that has proven in one research study to be more effective than direct therapeutic exposure (imaginal flooding and progressive muscle relaxation).
