In the 24th chapter of Matthew's Gospel, Jesus reveals five signs that precede the end of the world. False Christs, Wars and Rumours of War, Famines, Pestilence, and Earthquakes are among the signs that point to the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visibly, these signs are appearing all around us. However, once you read this book, you will understand that these signs are also phases that a church experiences when under attack from the enemy. You will also see that each phase is a progression:
- False Christians create Wars among the church's membership.
- Warring members produce a Famine of God's Word.
- The Famine of God's Word results in the Epidemic of sin.
- The Epidemic of sin leads to a Shaking among God's people.
These are the five phases of a church in crisis, and unfortunately, these phases are the beginning of sorrows.
