He worked tirelessly for the rights of the Indian Muslims and was instrumental in uniting people in the North-West Frontier Province (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan) against British rule.Asaf Ali (1888-1953): Asaf Ali was a lawyer and politician who was actively involved in the freedom struggle. He played a crucial role in organizing protests and advocating for the Quit India Movement. After independence, he served as India's first ambassador to the United States.Barkatullah Khan (1854-1927): Barkatullah Khan was a nationalist poet and freedom fighter who actively campaigned for India's independence. He traveled to different countries to garner support for the Indian cause and was a prominent figure in the Ghadar Movement, which aimed at freeing India from British rule.
